Art Prize

Carl Warner is a photographer born in London in 1955, who currently lives in Australia. The originality of his work lies above all and especially, in his "Foodscapes" landscapes recreated gross foods in great detail, built entirely for food. Built on a 1.2 x 2.4 meter table that rests inside a cold room, the photographer is able to create small scale models of landscapes created from common foods, those that can be found in any kitchen. Mars cabbage, melon boats, villages gross foods and towns cheese, ocean salmon, gross foods cabins churros, balloons ravioli, lasagna fields, woods mushrooms ... With your imagination, the photographer is able to make us go and walk through strange landscapes that have previously made. A trip tasty, funny, and original food. Everything in the photos is edible. No wonder that some supermarket chains use these photographs as a lure to their campaigns. Today, therefore, play attention to discovering what it is made each element of the landscape, taking into account, though, that everything can be taken to make the appetizer.
